Being Effectively Assertive

For the General Aviation Pilot

Sometimes it is necessary to exert our authority as pilot-in-command. This short course, about 40 minutes, illustrates some effective ways to be assertive both in non-urgent and in urgent situations. The course includes an instruction section, followed by four interactions to help solidify the principles learned. At the completion of the instruction section and all four interactions, a link to a ten question quiz is provided. Successful completion of the course and the quiz establishes eligibility for 1/2 credit Advanced Knowledge Topic 2 in the FAA Wings program.
